Our Thanksgiving was split into 3 days... one meal a day! I actually liked it better this way than trying to cram everything into one day.
Wednesday my mother called and said that they were sick, so her dinner was being moved from Thursday to Sunday. To say that I was excited was an understatement. So, Thursday dinner was fun. The kids played and crushed up pecans in Paw-paws front yard. Wyatt even ate those said pecans. Then we went home and crashed, while Wyatt hunted for snowmen:
Saturday, Nick and I dropped the boys off at my dads, cracked our first wishbone and drove to East Texas and claimed our winning prize of a paid trip to Vegas for 2 nights AND 5 night stay to either Aruba, Hawaii, Jamaica. (
Happy Thanksgiving to us!!!).
Saturday night after Turkey Dinner #2 was spent like this:
We ended up skipping out on Church to sleep in (shame on us) and then went to my mom's house - where it never fails that we have entertainment. Wyatt projectiled clear across the dinner table - it was great! The boy didn't even freak out, no - leave that to the adults. We got home and Tyler was so happy to see his favorite ball that he left behind:
