Saturday was relaxing. My brother went to our mom's house to go and house sit so the hubs and I had the house to just our lil fam-damily. It was great. We spent Saturday outside all day, Wyatt played in the pool (while standing on the outside of the pool) and ran around the backyard. We weren't going to really do yard work until we saw this:
Not big enough, let me fancy you with a closer look:
How about now?
This is by far the BIGGEST Wolf spider that we've seen since we moved in back in October. The usual suspects are the wolf spiders, however not this BIG. I died - really. Nick immediately went to Lowe's and picked up more spider killer (even though we put some down last month...this thing must be immuned) and more poison spray. Then after Wyatt went down for the night, we mowed and cleaned inside so Sunday we could go to church and relax!
Today, Wyatt had his first "big boy" breakfast. Since he's going to be 1 in just 2 short weeks, we've decided to slowly ease him into the big boy foods. Speaking of big boy - he is a champ. We were cleaning out his closet and chest drawers of clothes that no longer fit, and he was helping us moving stuff into Baby#2's closet. Even baby toys (like the Bumbo, stuff he doesn't need anymore.) Our son is a champ. Here he is this morning - eating his big boy breakfast roll, teasing his bubba Mason. I'm sure Mason will come to enjoy this eating situation (when we aren't lazy) because the food is so much closer than when Wyatt is in the highchair.
Here's to a GREAT week bloggies!
